yes. If you click on the "sort" icon (looks like 3 lines; beside the "icon") you can select "Drag and Drop to Sort". This will allow you to long-press a task and then drag it to sort it.

Hi

I tried that but when I long-press a task a menu pops-up and I'm not able to drag. Is this the normal? How can I drag and drop?

The long press is only for Honeycomb and later devices, which support a more rich tap-and-hold experience. On Gingerbread and earlier devices there is an icon in the toolbar at the bottom that let's you turn on mass deleting. If you tap that icon with the "drag and drop" sort option enabled, it will give you the drag and drop handles that you can use for manual sorting.

Strange. On my HTC Incredible 2 with Android 2.3.4, I can drag the items, but they don't stay where I put them. They drop to the bottom. I found that when I tap on the handles, that item drops to the bottom. So I tap on them in the order I want them to end up (each one drops to the bottom and pushes the previous one up). Is that the way it's supposed to work?

Sorry about the lateness of my reply. My computer had to go into HP for some repairs and using Tapatalk on my phone just sucks for replying sometimes.

No, that's not how it's supposed to work. I'll run some tests on it right now. The only pre-ICS device I have at the moment is a T-Mobile MyTouch 4g Slide, and that's running 2.2. But, I'll give it a try.
