Hi there,

thanks for the great app. I am still in the beginning of organizing myself with it. I had a desktop tool before but the sync eith my new tablet is terrible so I switched to your great app. :-)

Right now I stumbled upon the "feature" that if I add a task it automatically generates a reminder. Can I deactivate that? I havn't found anything in the options.

There are tow reasons why I dont

First: I dont want to be reminded on every task, since some things can really wait.

Second: It generates a reminder for the same day at 8 am. It does not matter that thsi time has already passed.

I really like the reminder but I would like to be able to set it manually. I have more taks which need no reminder than the other way around.

While I am at it, I stumbled upon something in the settings. What dies the option "Force tablet mode" do?  I thought it diables the auto rotation so it wont switch sides while moving the tablet but I have noticed no effect.

thanks in advance

Florian

P.S.: I have a Nexus 7 Tablet.

Yes, that's just a configuration option. Just go to Due Today's settings >Task  Notifications. Then, uncheck "Set Default Reminder". That will turn off the default reminder when creating a new task.

The "Force Tablet Mode" option enables the tablet layout for phones when they're rotated into the landscape orientation. This is especially useful for devices like the Galaxy Note. However, on an actual tablet device it has no effect as it will always use tablet mode when the device is in the landscape orientation.
