Hi,

I'm trialling Due Today v1.7.3 on my system and I've noticed that many of the tasks I create using it end up duplicated.

Every time I create a task, then duplicate it to create a similar task, I end up with duplicates of both the original and duplicate task. So I create two tasks but end up with four. The duplication isn't immediately obvious. I suspect they only appear after the interval sync with Toodledo. My sync is setup to ToodleDo with an update interval of 1 hour, and I have sync when item is updated selected.

I have had other incidents of task duplication. All of the duplicated tasks are created in Due Today Windows. I haven't been able to isolate a repeatable test case to reproduce this issue with these, but the case above reliably produces task duplication on my system.

Is there anything I can do to stop these unexpected duplicates from being created?

I was tossing up whether to report this in the Windows or Toodledo sync forums. I've gone with the Windows forum given I don't have problems with Due Today/Toodledo syncing on my Android devices so it might be something specific to the Windows client.

Thanks,
Matt

I've installed v1.7.5 and it appears to have resolved this issue. I created a task, duplicated it (and slightly modified the duplicate), and no unexpected duplication occurred.

Thanks!

You're welcome. You wouldn't believe the number of hours I spent just trying to fix that. :)

Actually, I would. :) I've recently spent way too much time recently fixing bugs reported in some code I wrote...
