Hi, I'm using Due Today 1.7.3.1044 on Windows XP Professional 32bit.
It's amazing software.

But today I can't synchronize data to toodle do.
When I press sync button the app show following error.

----
Sync Error
The following error was encountered while trying to sync:
Response (Adding Tasks): You didn't send any tasks to add.(Exception)
Response:
{"errorCode":4", errorDesc:":"You didn't send any tasks to add."}
(ToodleDo): Pushing new tasks.
----

I tried Sync Settings > Reset Sync Data, change Sync Service to None and back to ToodleDo,
Uninstall the app then reinstall.
But occurs same error.

Plz help.

It looks like this is an encoding error in the notes field. Specifically, there is at least one character that I'm not encoding properly and it's breaking the entire data structure that is sent to ToodleDo, causing them to not be able to read the information.

Can I ask if you have any notes in your tasks and, if you do, what those values are? Right now I'm not sure which character(s) I'm having problems with, so any information you can provide will help me in fixing this problem for you.

Hi Chris. Thank you for your reply.

Yes, I have a task with notes witten in Japanese.

I could reproduce the error when I enter 1 Japanese char(0x82a0) and line break(0x0d0a in Windows-31J encoding. 0x0a in UTF-8 encoding).

Maybe encoding of Windows Japanese edition is Windows-31J.

No errors appear when I enter just  the 1 Japanese char(0x82a0) or enter line break only.

Thank you.

Let me see if I can enter that in and attempt an encode. Thank you.
