Hello,

I was wondering if you could add a context bar (so you could sort your tasks by context) to the android widget.  Preferably it would look like the Windows version shown below.  This would help review your contexts more easily when you're mobile.  If you can already do this, please let me know how.

Thanks,

The widget is currently sortable using most of the same features as the main app. It just doesn't currently support the group bars like in your screenshot.

But, that's going to be changing soon as I'm redesigning the widget to take advantage of the fact that most devices now can use scrolling widgets. The current widget is still stuck in the Gingerbread model of static, non-scrolling widgets so the layout hasn't changed much. One of these features will be better sorting of the widgets which will include the group headers.

If you have any further ideas on what you'd like to see done with the widget I would appreciate any input.

Hey Chris,

I was curious to see if this is still slated for a future release?

I'm looking for the ability to have the "show in groups" (which you can already do in the android application) - but with the Widget.

Thanks!

This is on its way. I'm doing a full redesign in anticipation for the Android-L material theme and the widget is very long overdue for an overhaul (I didn't modify it heavily the last time I upgraded the interface). So yes, it's coming very, very soon.
