That's an interesting comparison, however, I think it would be more useful if you would let me know in what ways I can improve Due Today to meet your needs. Many of the features that Pocket Informant has Due Today already supports, especially in the "wants" list.

I tried Pocket Informant when I was shopping for GTD based apps and chose Due Today based on an overall better user interface. I therefore didn't test PI out extensively so I don't claim to be an expert but I always felt that DT had the best layout and usability of the apps I tried including all the ones on that list . I would however offer two things that PI has that would be great in DT :
1) The actual calendar feature.
While I like and totally use the "This Week" view, I've always longed for an actual DT calendar tied in. I wouldn't want it in place of adding tasks to other calendars because that's useful but to actually be able to look further into the future from within DT would be excellent. 90+% of my calendar entries originate from my DT tasks so it seems the most logical way to view them. If a full DT calendar isn't feasible then even a "This Month" view would be an awesome improvement. I constantly move and regroup date-based tasks for any number of reasons and since exporting my DT tasks to an external calendar is a one-way affair, it gets cumbersome to manually remove tasks from my Google Calendar if I change due dates in DT. So, I think that's one that PI got right even if I don't really care for the Day-Planner layout they use.
2) A Manual.
I know it sounds simple even though it's not but I think a user manual is essential for a complex app like this to ultimately be successful. For me, I like and depend on DT enough that I've learned what I need along the way but there are a lot of nuances to the way things work. Sometimes it takes a lot of trial and error to figure out why a certain feature behaves the way it does and even then, I'm not always sure I understand it completely.
In the meantime Chris, your offer to post on the ways you use DT is much anticipated. I believe it will help us.
